Phone & Email Support
I can available through phone or email any time of the day, unless I am on call I will not always answer right away. Especially if it's in the middle of the night. If there's a medical emergency, call your primary caregiver.
3 Prenatal Visits
These visits can go from us sitting in your living room or meet somewhere for coffee or a snack to put together and discuss your birth "wish-list", talk through your excitement or worries with your upcoming labor and delivery, and walking through different pain management techniques and figuring out the best ways to help and support you and/or your partner.
During labor
I am on call for you 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after your EDD (Estimated Due Date). During labor I am here to help ease your mind and focus on your body. I can sit in room with you silently or I can talk to you and provide you with massage or other physical support. I am able to prepare food for you or your partner, and help you feel confident and voice your wants, desires, and feelings.
As a Doula, I Do Not:
Perform any clinical tasks
As a doula, I am not a certified medical professional. I am here for you and your surrounding village to offer information when asked for and to provide a safe space to talk and ask questions.
After Birth
I am here for you to help with the first feedings, providing a warm comfortable environment and taking photos for you or your family. I will be there to take some of the responsibility off of the new mama and her support team so they can enjoy the magic of their new baby.
3 Postpartum visits
After birth, I will be excited to visit and talk to you through your birth and all the events that took place. I can help you with household chores, give you a few moments alone to shower or take a rest, or even run errands with you if you feel you might need help. Anything that you suggest might help you relieve some stress and keep your mind at ease.
Make decisions for you
Your pregnancy and your labor is yours. Which includes your choices and decisions on what you feel comfortable with and what you think is the best choice. I am here to give you pros and cons of any question you have, and the rest is up to you!
Speak to the staff on your behalf
Doulas do not speak for you, we will encourage you to make a choice based on information you provided to us before. We are here to make you feel confident and that you did what is best for you and your baby.

Being a doula means entering a non-biased field. Staying completely neutral throughout the entire time of support. Only giving the factual information, not the emotional. Whether or not views are shared or not, it will never effect the care provided.
